João Ferro Martins
Sottile sfumatura di rumore
Sottile sfumatura di rumore is the title of the upcoming solo exhibition by João Ferro Martins at gallery 3+1 Arte Contemporânea.
The artist extends an invitation to an exhibition that is simultaneously the set of a film to be produced during its period at the gallery. Based on everyday atmospheres and objects, the exhibition features an environment resulting from the combination of visual work, machinery and a peculiar mystique. The works reflect a rich universe and the disquieting formal exploration that Ferro Martins pursues in sci-fi, technique, notions of performance and art history in a production that points generically to cinematographic practice.
